In a lecture delivered at Chu Hai College (Hong Kong) on July 9, 2019, Professor Chiu Kay Tang, currently Dean, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, Chu Hai College of Higher Education, explored the creative process of Wang Jingwei’s Shuangzhaolou poetry by examining Wang’s handwritten drafts, which were published for the first time in our book pp.114-244. Professor Tang spoke about Wang Jingwei‘s painstaking process, often involving four-five drafts before arriving at the final poems. The first scholar to closely study Wang Jingwei’s poetry drafts, Professor Tang also offered his insights in the preface for Wang Jingwei Poetry - Newly Edited.
