Wang Jingwei & Modern China series Managing Editor and Wang Jingwei’s granddaughter Cindy Ho was interviewed by Dr. Simon Shen for his YouTube channel on January 27, 2023. In the four-part interview, Ho shared background stories behind the new titles about to be published a few days later. Topics discussed include Wang Jingwei as a family member, and how his wife Chen Bijun had been maliciously vilified. They also spoke about the “Peace Movement” and life under Wang in the occupied territories during the war. The interview received many positive and supportive comments from the audience, as we move forward with our mission to let Wang Jingwei’s own words complete a better understanding of Wang, and the history of the Republican Era.
