The Wang Jingwei Irrevocable Trust and Tunghai University’s Chinese Department will jointly host a “Wang Jingwei Poetry Appreciation Seminar” on May 20th, inviting contemporary young students to interpret Wang Jingwei’s poetry. We invite people from all sectors in and out of the university to attend and witness fresh perspectives on  Wang Jingwei’s poetry, savoring the emotions and philosophical thoughts behind the words.

Wang Jingwei was a modern poet of extraordinary talent. Professor Yu Ying-shih once commented that his poetry has “reached first-class status among contemporary literati,” while Professor Ye Jiaying wrote, “Wang Jingwei used his own life to write his poetry, and his own life to realize his poetry, and can therefore be called a true poet.”
